.......Black fog

I was so surprised to wake up to FOG, where I live (in the desert) we don't get fog.

But there it was and I very much enjoyed it, the way it blanketed everything with it's romantic ambiance and the stunning frost it brought along with it to cover everything in crystals.

 Of course I had to run out and take photos while it lasted. 

......Woven dreams

As of late, all my new outfits have been compiled of thrifting finds.

Which are mostly over sized sweaters, as I have developed an addiction to them. 

Especially in this cold snowy winter. 

Which I must say I am enjoying and I am not looking forward to the all too soon arriving summer months.

This entire outfit is "new" from my thrifting trip yesterday, (minus the jeans) the woven purse, neat detailed shoes  and sweater are all from my favorite Salvation Army thrift store.
(and yay to my club card I got 20% off)

This past week I had a visit from my friend Ellie, and I taught her how to make friendship bracelets. 

One of my fun little hobbies.

And so after a little bead shop shopping, we spent the afternoon on my couch with our strings and beads.

.......A very belated christmas and a happy new year

           I have been away and not posting due to my previous post about my picture uploading dilemma.

The very helpful Amy from the blog, Amour Et Chocolat  brought to my attention that I can use a image hosting online site to upload my photos, which had not occurred to me. It does add an extra step, but I am oh so thankful that she helped my panicked self realize a way to solve my problem, the free way.

Anyway, here is a short account of my laid back, lovely simple Christmas.

We didn't have a tree this year, and my brother ripped apart all my fancy wrapping before I could take photos.

We ate yummy veggy food, and I very happily stuffed myself to the extreme  :-)

I received a gift card to TOMSshoes.com,

a red Kat Von D lipstick, and cute yellow and red fingerless gloves.

Also this is a semi outfit post of what I wore on Christmas.

So, the weirdest thing happened. I tried to upload some photos to my post and Google pops up a little message saying that I

"used up all my free 1 GB of space"  and wants me to "purchase more"  WHAT?!?

I didn't know that I had a limit on this blogger site?

I just wanted to ask anyone if they have experienced anything like this.  Any input would be incredibly helpful.

.....Snow and rain and blur

It's been on and off alternating, snow and rain for the last two days and I think it's the strangest thing.

Work is cutting back hours, ahhh I feel the pain.

And so I leave you with two random photos I took, enjoy.

......White Christmas

It has been snowing non stop all day today.

And it is lovely.

I got this really great Christmas sweater at the thrift store, and just in time!

I must say I'm happy with my find. It reminds me of the latest Urban Outfitters catalog.

Also, I made my friend vegan green tea cupcakes for her birthday.
