......Ikes place

Ah, San Fransisco, you never cease to provide me with amazing food and good times.

For example, Ikes Place, thee most amazing sandwich place in the world and you know why? Vegan sandwiches!! I received my hot, toasty, and yes melty, vegan Tom Brady sandwich and I was nearly overcome by the sheer heavenly-ness of it. (did I mention they give you free chips and a pop?)

Then we went for a walk in Golden Gate Park and had a fun family day which we then followed up with a Burmese dinner that was wonderfully yummy even to our still overly full tummies. We started with a salad covered with tea leaves imported all the way from Burma, fried garlic, dried bits of lentil, sunflower seeds, and peanuts. Then samosa falafel soup, samosas, this AMAZING coconut rice, wine and garlic broccoli, noodles with chili sauce, some spiced lentil dishes and then they gave us peanut butter cups with the check! :)

.......Picnic

Today was such a lovely day that we decided to have a picnic in the backyard. 

We made pasta salad, (vegan for me) and had crisp sweet watermelon slices. 

Then we laid out on a quilt and sunned ourselves like cats.

Me and Lina went on a shopping adventure yesterday and bought lots of cute things. We also had a amusingly awkward encounter with a certain cute UO employee :) We got Peets coffee and I got a vegan chocolate chip cookie. Yum! To say the least it was a very fine day :)

Again! Yes I know I eat a lot of it. But it's amazingness.

....Totoro

I don't know about you, but I grew up watching the movie My Neighbor Totoro. 

I watched it countless times, and to this day I still love it. I went to this cute Asian gift store today with Lina and found this adorably awesome little key chain Totoro. (look at the cute package he's holding!)

.....Green house

Today we went out to "the farm" to buy some eggs from happy chickens. 

We also went in the green house and picked up some neat plants.

These are "squirrel ferns" their furry roots grow around the pot you plant them in, and this was huge, like the size of me almost.  Then there were "pregnant plant" (yes they say pregnant)  and lots of pretty green mossy stuff all over the ground.

.....Sushi with Raquel

The other night my cousin Raquel, my uncle, and I went to their favorite sushi place.

(they know the guy and he creates all sorts of fun veg rolls for them!)

So it was a very yummy experience to say the least :) I started off with a seaweed salad, (they had a normal salad) then we followed our salads up with a tempura roll, avocado cucumber roll, baked tofu roll, a normal rice and seaweed roll tempura battered and fried, (with some sort of yummy spicy sauce) and then this tofu roll drizzled with spicy mayo and baked. (heaven!)

.....Raspberries with Lina

I got a job working at the fair in cali, (finally a job!) and so I am staying with my cousins for the month.
(so excited!) My cousin Lina is growing a cute little raspberry plant outside in her backyard, they were very yummy, and oh so cute!
